David,
I think it will look great. I was driving home today and I say a Artic Silver C2/C4 with the aero kit sides and tail with a turbo nose and painted turbo lip. It looked sweet. Also, Rich (LA cab) has a Artic Silver 996 cab with the turbo nose. His car is sweet all around. I say go for it, you'll be happy.

Yah i'm lovin the turbo front but def. need to have some aero kit sides to bring the sides down to meet the plastic lip on the bumper. What are the warts you guys are talking about?

The 01 turbo nose has 2 small rubber bumpers.....butt ugly. I had mine removed.

David,
Larry's (CA996) turbo nose should be finished in about 1 week. He is also putting on aero 2 rockers. His car is already sweet with the Techart tail and other mods. With all the new mods coming, that will be a car you wont want to miss. We'll make sure he posts pics for you.

Mark.. the bumber is a fiberglass bumper made by Mashaw www.mashaw.com

The clear turn signal lenese for the lights... do you have the amber headlights? if so the whole headlight has to be changed.. I have litroincs which come with clear lenses.. you can but the regular clear lights on ebay for $500 range.. or a new set of litronics for $1k from Foreign Affairs.. (Board Sponsor) If your referring to just the corner piece those are $30 for both.. not sure on part numbers... Tell Michael at Mashaw I sent you!!

Kevin:
How do you like that bumper? Looks great. Any probs with cracking since it's fiberglass?

Seems like it would be a lot easier to do an aftermarket bumper that has the look than to swap fenders and such.

I love it.. no probs with cracking unless of course you hit something... but that goes the same with even a plastic bumper, the fiberglass is easy to fix if that happens..
My friend Justin has one as well.. We also added the GT3 lips to the bottom.. but they scrape quit a bit.. its really low with those on..

Well the aero ll side skirts and turbo nose are all painted and look great and are ready to go.....almost. Waiting 2-3 weeks before I install then because I want to install the Transparent bra on the nose and sideskirts. Needless to say I am anxious to see how it all looks.

David,

Can you tell me who is doing your paint work. I have an '02 TT bumper coming to put on my '02 C4 cab. I've been told that it is a straight swap. However, I've also been told that the duct work has to be slightly modified. Have you also found this out as part of the install? If so, do you know what is involved in this?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

I actually don't have anyone at the moment but CA996 just got his sprayed so maybe he can jump in and help ya out on that. I know the guys at Lucent have a painter who works on all highend cars. http://www.lucentmotors.com Their phone number is (310) 231-3328. They are in Santa Monica.

Well the paint came out perfect.............it was painted by my neighbor in his garage.........yes I said garage.........yes I said neighbor. He's been a body shop guy for years and takes his time and does it right. In Los Angeles I would reccommend Avio in WLA for quality work.

David.......yes I already have the Techart lll wing on the car.
