Newbie : wanted to share some pics of the new ride...

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and compliments everyone. I've been around the BMW forums for awhile (Previous E46 M3 owner) - and it's always nice to have a great community and resource available.
As for the photos, they were taken with a Canon G5 - using a lens adapter w/Wide Angle. No fisheye, but a similar effect when using a wideangle w/full zoom. Not a professional whatsoever, just picked up a few tricks from a close friend who's an amazing photographer.
As for the mod bug...believe me - you guys are a bad influence. The day after I picked mine up I bought smoked sidemarkers and was already looking at picking up a set of bumper plugs. The past few cars I've owned I've modded but I'm really trying to take my time with this one...just trying to enjoy it!

Just out of curiosity, did u buy the car with those side skirts? They are from a mk1 996 on an mk2 996. interesting. I have the opposite, a 01 996 with 02 sideskirts... Beautiful none the less...

02barebones996: Mental note - "stay away from Turbo guys" - LOL. I haven't seen a boatload of mods for the C2 so I should be okay...I think...hahaha.

AeroTT: I do have some shots of the interior, I'll post them up tonight. What do you guys think of the Carbon Fiber trim? Schnell has full replacment pieces that are AMAZING.
01-996: The car came with the sideskirts. It's an 02'. I was just happy it came with the tequipment sides, but thanks for the info!
John in Norcal: I'm sure your shots are great - Again, not a professional but next time I'm up in Norcal I'll send over an e-mail. There are some incredible locations to shoot up there.
yellowirv996: Go yellow!! Nice pics, love the aerokit and motorsport wheels. The pics of my car where taken with a Canon G5. There's also a guy in my neighborhood that has the Paul Tracy CEC Speed Yellow Turbo. That car is nuts.
