Graphite Grey Touch-Up Paint
 

I have two scratches on my dash around the instrument cluster that I'd like to cover up, any touch-paint or pen for graphite grey interior? Where can I get some?

I would love to know as well- Especially a small can of spray paint.

As far as I know no one makes it. The "soft-touch" material isn't really paint in a normal sense. If you find it or someone who can make it and it works you'd be a very popular person here. What people typically do is have the whole piece re-painted by someone like Eric from bumperplugs into an exterior colour.

It's not paint, and there is no touchup.

Find the local leather repair expert in your area. They can match it by mixing a bottle (and leave it with you) and then touch it up so it will never show.

Thanks Eric, found out it's Dye, I take it you don't carry it as touch up paint in small bottles for Pcar colors?

There are two scratches as wide as a sharp pencils tip, one about 1/4" long and the other about 3/4", I like to keep that piece grey as I have enough silver trim in the car for my taste. If I can't find anything I'll let them be as I won't see them unless I look for them.

Leather repair guys can touch up vinyl, rubber, leather, etc. It's all coated plastic for the most part, and I've seen their magic.

Find the local leather expert for highline cars in Chicago...there are probably a few.

LOL- They should call it 'chip touch'...

I will just have mine repainted body color sometime soon.

P.S. I only used it on my instrument cluster and for two small scratches and it covered them great, other stuff I don't know.

Okay, I had the same problem. Very small chip on a small plastic part that's not easily replaced. I found spray-on vinyl/carpet/plastic dye at www.detailking.com for $10 for a spray can. "Carbon Gray" color # HT-445 is a perfect match for Porsche Graphite Gray interior pieces. For other colors, ask for their color chart. You'll most likely find a match. They also sell liquid (non spray) dye, but that's not intended for plastic parts. What I did was spray a small amount in a paper cup, then use a small touch-up brush to dip into the cup and use just like touch up paint.

Sure figure this out after I just ordered a new carbon brake handle set because I got a few scratches on the soft touch when putting in the short shift....

Just ordered a can... Man shipping is expensive almost as much as the can. I hope this stuff works, I have a few minior spots in the interior to touch up...
