Production Schedule for ordered car

I'm patiently waiting for my ordered car - '04 C4S. My local dealer explained to me that I have an April build. When does Porsche let my dealer know exactly which week my car will be built? Also, once the car is built - how long does it take to send the car and receive it in NJ? Just curious - I guess I'm having a hard time waiting. Thanks

It's not an exact science. The dealer can pull up the current status of the car anytime you want. These are the production codes they will get...

ACKNWL Order acknowledged by PCNA
ACPORD Order accepted by PCNA
MFGCNF Assigned a Production Number
PLPROD Vehicle is Planned for Production
PROD Vehicle in Production
CMPPRD Vehicle Completed Production
PRDLST Factory Last Checkpoint
IMPINV Vehicle Complete and Invoiced
ONVESL On Vessel
IMPPRT Vehicle at U.S. Port
PDI Vehicle at Charleston PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection)
PDIFIN Vehicle Finished PDI
INVSHP Invoiced and Shipped to Dealer
DLRARR Arrived at Dealership

When your car reaches each stage, and when Porsche updates their computer, are not necessarly the same dates.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to ask the dealer to let me know what production code they have for my car.
