I installed the K40 remote with the warning light pods on the top of the sunglass opening. . pod on the left is for front radar and laser difuser, pod on the right is rear radar detector

Convenient, easy to see and not distracting. So far, works great

 

I had the warning lights in my 740iS (K40) installed in the top of the instrument cluster where I can see it all the time. The V1 remote in my C2 was moved around to various locations and I finally ended up placing it on top of the steering wheel column so I could see the arrow display all the time (I like the sound turned down), since I'm always focused straight ahead.
