RocC4S,

It sounds like I am the minority opinion here, but originally I thought you were kidding, but now I am worried you are serious.

You are turning into a "poser" in my mind as you don't track the car. If it were a track car, then maybe, but as a weekend toy you have to be kidding.

I may get flamed for these comments, but as a C4S owner myself I think it would "cheapen" your car. My $.02

PS Send this note to your insurance agent and see what he/she thinks??

It's funny how you make your comments like you know me, "turning into a poser". I find it quite funny actually. Also, if you read the previous posts, I do track the car. However, you are entitled to your opinon and I'm cool with that....

RocC4S,

Don't misinterpret my comments, as I was not meaning to attack you personally. Rather they were addressing my reaction to your suggestion of additing "cup car" type of decals to a what I perceived as daily driver, i.e. the poser reference. ( I did read your reference to some track time and DE's)

If you like the look, go for it!! It's your car, do whatever you like and post some pics as I would be curious to see how it looks.

no harm, no foul............ Demosan

Keep the top stripes, make sure to keep the proportions (red stripe wider than blue ones each side and black onces thinnier than blue ones and yes use the logo no problem.

Side stripes I would not do but if you really want to, go with much much thinner stripes (maybe 3 inches high total) closer to the bottom of the door, with a small logo within the stripes but towards the front or back of the door (on fender behind the front wheel or in front of the rear wheel, but not centered with the door.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Me again.
If you are not considering going right down the bumpers on front and back, think of having the stripes going on them for a few inches and finish up the ends of the stripe by having the blue ones going around each end, they could be thinnier going around. But I would not just stop at the edge of the hood and trunk lid, it would make for a better finish.

I really see a smaller logo right behind the doors on rear fenders, with a thinner stripe close to the bottom of the door.

Unless you are getting paid in some manner, there is no reason for you to run sponsorship decals. rice.
