Yes Corey you are correct. They did an engine swap when it was less than 25k miles. I have 31xxx on the odometer now and the previous owner said the x51 is around 9k miles old.

This was actually posted for me by my friend dice996c4. I didn't have full privileges at the time so he posted above pics of my ride. I will post new ones as soon as I get my new set of WORK RXX from Bill Koenig of Rennworx.
Thanks.

Just make sure they also did the central front radiator. It seems to be something people miss when they do the conversion. If not, don't drive it too hard or on the track till you do. It's not very expensive about 500 bucks and a few hours work, but somthing that is needed.

Also congrats and enjoy it....

Thanks for the advice CoreyNJ...I'll verify with the dealer if the central front radiator has been done. If not, I'll have it fixed right away.

You should be able to see it. Look at the front of the car and you should see 3 radiators. One on each side and one in the center. Since you have 6speed, if there is a center radiator it's been done.

Just Curious:

Is the 3rd Radiator just a x51 requirement and not a stock 1999 3.4L with a 6-speed? I am looking at tracking my car 3/4 times a year and I want to make sure I miss nothing that I need.

Thanks in advance.

the 3rd radiator is part of the x51 package and is part of the tiptronic. People, however installs it for extra cooling when on track. It a good mod to do for tracking.

Thanks for the info. Where do you find a kit to add the 3rd radiator (including the radiator) and do you have to remove the front bumper (I am thinking yes to that)?
