Its kind of a waste of time to wax either before or after... it does just fine by itself.

hi, i was just wondering do you need to clean the paint before you apply such as clay bar (to reduce swirls and stuff) or is washing with dawn ok?

Does it work on light colored cars? All my cars have meguairs wax on them already, how would I go about stripping wax before applying rejex? That is the part I am most confused about.

Also it says apply every 4-6 months. Does that mean Rejex doesn't come of when I wash the car?

*sorry for the dumb questions, just a newb trying to learn*

Just clean your car like you normally would and use Rejex as the last step. It can be applied over any wax.

But they say on their website that the effectiveness of Rejex wears off if applied over waxed surface, thus I was wondering if the wax needs to be stripped first?

Also I use meguairs quick detail in between washes (since car is covered most of the time), after using Rejex should I go about using the Meguairs quick detail or refrain from using it?

Thanks

I use the quick detail spray, seems to be OK.

If you want to strip your old wax off wash your car with Dawn.

Here's a picture I took of my boat after I used Rejex. I put in on everything - gelcoat, metal, wood. The results are incredible. The surfaces feel like a feather. I used an orbital wherever possible or by hand with a microfibre towel. I'll never use anything else.

lafun, I would probably just apply the Rejex over the wax. They say it might not last as long that way, but I would just apply another coat of rejex sooner.
