This wing is so bad ***. If you love the old air cooled turbo cars, how can you not love this? Gives the wimpy narrow body 996's a a little more oommph.

Here's a few shots on a coupe.

Mother is infamous around these parts
Similar types

I like a mix of old school and new, I wished Porsche designers did alittle better job of accomplishing this. This pic the spoiler sits alittle lower to the body lines and is interesting also.

Deputydong I like the new wing. Make sure you have a professional do the job and not some chop shop. Post pics or ban.

Aloha

What color is your car? Any more pics?

By the way, if you have it hosted on imageshack, why in the world would you subject us to a thumbnail?

I went to a couple body shops for estimates today. I almost **** myself when the estimate at the first place came out to $1300 for prep, paint, and install. I politely packed up my stuff and took it to the dealer for a second opinion. They were almost $1700. I then politely packed up my stuff and went back to the first place

I guess I can't ***** too much as they're the best body shop in town and they came in a lot cheaper than the dealer.

I'm still shocked at how much it costs to get this stuff prepped. Buying the parts is apparently just the down payment

I have to admit that I am a little disapointed in the condition of the techart parts. You would think that with their insane pricing they would come ready to paint. Not the case. Lots of sanding and smoothing required. Oh well. Can't wait to get the wing installed. They're going to prep the parts this week and I drop the car off Saturday morning for the install. Hope to get it back on Monday or Tues.

Dust question...

Do you guys get extra road dust from this wing...I can detail the car and within a mile I have a thin layer of dust on the back of the car from the tip of the spoiler down while the rest of the car stays glossy for a week.
