Need Help Asap
I am installing my short shifter on my 2000 996....i cannot figure out any way to get off the shifter ****...help is greatly appreciated!!

daytrader is infamous around these parts
If you have a manual stick and the shifter is a OEM one piece **** with leather boot and silver accent, just yank out hard. Away from your face.

Same thing happened to me. It took 2 of us to hold and pull until finally it budged.
