Try talking your friend out of the yellow stitching and get silver or white instead, belts & gauges will be yellow enough

 

No pictures, but I've seen it in person on a Cobalt/Sea blue with yellow stitching at the dealership's showroom and it looks stunning and very sporty at the same time.

 

Here's a fountain blue TT.

 

PorscheFanatic, he is very keen in keeping the yellow stitching then again he is used with the Yellow stitching in his Giallo Modena/ Obsidian black V8 vantage.

 

Thank you for the pictures, the interior will be full sea blue which is the same colour as the upper trim ie Dashboard on the interior you posted.

 

I hope crushing depreciation isn't an issue. My guess is not a big concern.

 

Depreciation isnt a major issue here and non-standard colours arent a player in making the car's price lower in 2nd hand sale's.

 

agreed, all that yellow in the cabin is gonna look terrible IMO

just doesnt go with the sublime horizon exterior and subtle sea interior...tsk tsk

 

Just got updated that the car will be in Kuwait around early May, I assume production is end of Febuary early March maybe.

just remembered and wanted to ask you:
is this exactly the same colour as the couple of C2s with GT3 aerokits that used to run around the Gulf St a few years back?
i haven't seen a Porsche in that colour for ages now, and the only one i used to occasionally see in a similar colour was the 993TT with off-white interior .. am sure you know the one, so is it the same colour (code and everything)?

if it is, i'm definitely sold on a similar combo .. it'd look awesome regardless of car make and model

 

Yes if my memory serve's me right, its not far from the Skye Blue 993Turbo with cream interior.

I am not sure if its the same as the C2's with the aerokit a few years back but I can imagine how it would look on the 997. It is one of the few colours that match's with the turbo wheels perfectly and doesnt require Aftermarket wheels to spicen the look a bit.

 

Have you though of doing a two tone interior and making the dash black? It may be a nice contrast and help break up the color a little...
