FIRST MOD****PSS10 Coilovers Installed

I got the TT back today with the new PSS10's installed, corner balanced and aligned. I have not had a chance to really push it yet but the 40 mile ride home from the shop was by far the best this car has ever felt. It was very planted and the steering was more direct. PASM worked just fine and the ride improved in both sport and regular modes. I don't understand why Porsche did not install these from the factory. What a difference!

Can you vary the ride height independently of spring preload on these?
Thanks

I have TA coilovers that I think they are the same (Bilstein) and I am going to change the sway bars end links to adjustable to get a more precise balance of the car...

Weren't the Techart coilovers even more at $7500 a set? These are cheaper I think. Are they as good?

I will post the alignment specs and photos as soon as I get a chance. 5k is pricy but a lot less than Techarts. I think the Techarts are basically the same part just made by Billstein to their spec. I purchased mine from FVD when they had them on sale last month and had them installed at Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills, CA.

Congrats! Give us your impressions as soon as you can abuse her a little around the corners and bumps

You can get the US version cheaper when they ship. I don't think the retail is going to be over 4K. Well I hope not.

As Mike from AWE mentioned the US release will be Oct 22.

Here are a few photos since the PSS10 install. The car was lowered 1 inch on the front and 3/4 in the rear, corner balanced (3471 pounds with half tank), and aligned. There is a huge improvement in drive and ride. The PASM modes work and the ride is so much better I can almost keep it in sport mode all the time.

looks great! Unreal how they charge for a "new" product. Funny how all the products, exhaust, suspension etc., drop about 50% in price after a few years.
