Who has the best deal on the 997TT front lips?

Despite being REALLY careful amd angling into everything, I have scraped my lip a couple of times and I"m pretty sure it will need to be replaced at some point. My local dealership wants close to $300 for the black plastic lip and $920 for the "paintable" version! The only difference being that the paintable version is smooth and ready for paint vs the plastic one being slightly textured. I don't know how you guys with lowered cars and GT3 fronts can avoid scrapes!

997 Turbo Tip is infamous around these parts
Front Lip Damage

Search on "Front Splitter Project" Ecolu made up some acrylic splitters which my son ordered for my TTT. They installed very easily and look very factory. The bottom line > no more scraps. He was really onto something and it works. Check it out.

http://www.sunsetimports.com/porscheparts.php on the west coast or http://suncoastporsche.com/parts_department.asp on the east coast. Should be less than $200 shipped.

Sunset Imports sells them for about $130 + shipping. Cheaper than Suncoast.

I already bought a pair from Eugene and they are sitting in my den right now. I haven't had a chance to install them because I want to get some nice wide countersunk washers and screws to make sure the screws don't rip out at the first scrape. What type of hardware did your son use to mount them?
