Don - long time no speak Hope all is well.

Do you have a circular polarizer on the lens perhaps a ND(Neutral Density) Filter?

That would work wonders for your harsh sunlight in Sunny FLA!

Hi Alpine

How are ya??

I do have a rotating polarizing lense on my 85 - 200 millimeter nikkor lense but I tend to use the wide angle when doing normal shots.

I am let down these days with my D100,,, when it came out 4 yrs ago it was state of the art but now with the D200 and soon to be D300,, I have a dinosaur it seems. The D100 looks new but I just may have to give it to a nephew and spring for the D300,,,, which will be obsolete in 3 yrs,, LOL

Remember when a 35 mil camera lasted for 30 yrs,, nothing much changed until the automatic stuff was invented?? Now, every yr things get twice as good.

The TT is still amazing and I am having TOO much fun with it.

Keep in touch

OT

LOL re. camera bodies; I know what you mean. They are like computers, becoming obsolete every 2 years. I buy lenses without much hesitation but am much more careful about bodies for that reason.

Size is 19 inches. Offsets: I don't know. They are designed for 997 Turbo so the fit is perfect. Purely plug-and-play: No spacer or adjustment needed.

I am not sure but I would imagine they fit 997 C4 body also.

GT2?! You lucky son of a gun!!!!
Porsche use a red GT2 as their display model at the LA show for a reason.
Kidding aside, it looks stunning in person: so mean, so menacing, yet so sporty. I was in awe.

First I love HRE wheels (quality & looks), those wheels are hot. I've seen them in person and what a great product. They look bigger than their size due to the spokes going all the way to the edge. Forged monbloc aluminum, cool stuff. They have the mesh and 11 spoke designs both are beautiful.
HRE is making me a "one-off" set for my BMW E60 M5 in 20", its a test run since they only sell this style for Porsche and Mercedes.
These wheels look a little like the Neez QD7 and the Manthey BBS type wheels.
Enjoy those wheels and that "red hot" 997TT,
