If so, why would you put that much down? If you wreck it as you drive off the lot, that money is gone... As a purchase, I can understand, but not on a lease. Too risky...

I would even suggest that putting 10k down is ill advised. Keep it and pay the extra 225 or so per month.

i highly doubt he has a lease. 50K down on a lease would be retarded.
