PSS9's w/PASM Holiday Special
Jason,
I think its the B16 - Damptronics.

I guess they just denote damptronic as an option for PASM enabled cars. No need to redo the entire box cover since it looks like it is a B16 with the Damptronic Option.
Just a guess

What is confusing to me, but not terribly important, is how the Damptronics are adjusted electrically. I spoke with Scott at Bilstein, who said the valving is adjusted internally by magnets. I've also read that the oil (it has some technical name) in the shock has magnetic particles in it that, when electrically charged, changes the viscosity of the oil.
I guess in either case it works.

"B16" means that it is a Bilstein coil over kit with adjustable damping.
There are 3 different versions of "B16" kits :
PSS-9 and PSS-10 for the non PASM cars and Damptronic for the PASM cars.
As said earlier in this thread, the only correct term for the 997TT kit is "B16-Damptronic".
