Wow, Love your setup man... the guards red, with those black HREs looks amazing. Those P40s have grown on me big time, definitely my favorite one-piece wheel right now.

and they are pretty light too, 21+ lbs in the front and 24+ in the rears... not too shabby.

Conversely the M40 (Mercedes version) weighs in the 20 inch format at almost 30 lbs in the front and over 30 lbs in the rear. After speaking with Guy Atherton with HRE- he told me that they make the MBZ wheels mainly for dealer sales and they gear it towards non enthusiasts who dont watch the roads that carefully and generally bend wheels.

Peter, good to hear from you!! I hope you are doing well and it seems the business is flourishing too. I still use your web site for ideas and info- thanks again for all the assistance over the years. Whats it been 8 years now?

Good luck with your new turbo, it looks great with the changes you have made. Great photos.
I live in N.Y. so the weather is not great this time of the year. So I decided to wait for the DFI on the 09 model. I have ordered a 2009 Red 997TT with red painted spoiler lip, rocker panels and rear apron. Black leather with red stitching throughout, red center console, red seatbelts, red belt outlet, carbon fiber steering wheel and the basic carbon package.
Looking at your car has both helped and made the wait seem even longer.
