Pioneer Avic D3 for Sirius / Ipod?
 

Has anyone on this board installed this unit in a 997tt? I've searched online and have found very minimal information. I am frustrated with the lack of Ipod and Sirius connectivity available and am no longer interested in attempting the NavtV or Dennison route due to conflicting reviews of reliability and functionality.

My local dealer says this unit will not work in the 997tt. My local reputable audio shop says it 'probably' will, but they have yet to do an install. Can anyone here confirm that this unit could replace the PCM to include sirius/ipod connectivity without sacrificing any other functions? Thank you for your time.

I would trust the dealer.

I don't have any experience with the Pioneer. I also do not want to go down the NavTv or Dennison route. One person with bugs (and there are more than one) is too many in my book.
