Your gift is that they let you buy the car. Anything else is negotiation with the sales representative.

Gift

I also received a Certificate of Authenticity. I don't know if it was from the dealer or the factory. For 160 grand I'm not writing any thankyou cards. But I'm glad that I got one.

I got a Certificate of Authenticity, something I did not get with my 930.

But I got no turbine thingie, no scale model of 997TT in slate, no bling at all. I never get nothin' unless I pay through the nose.

I got an indoor car cover, which I never use.
My dealer/sales guy wasn't on the ball about the certificate, so I bought my own.

I know what you are talking about, it is a small version of part of the turbo I think. For the 996TT it was your VIN mounted nicely. My buddies dad has both, I will ask him what he had to do. However, as far as I know from previous conversations he just got them after ordering his car. Hope this helps.

You didn't have to do anything. They just sent it to you with your VIN# on it. They stopped doing that.

I bought a used Porsche and got a pretty good bottle of wine which I drank immediately after I got my new insurance bill.
