Is it hard to install??? I have the multi function wheel but could care less about the functions, I would just like a different wheel..

Did you order yours with carbon like Jason's? How about the "Techart" delete? Let me know the part number you ordered. Thanks.

For you guys with Multifunction wheels, they've got you covered. It's their type 2 version:

This is what I got for mine,

Type 1
No Techart logo
Natural grey
OEM grey stitching (although they forgot to include this on mine)
Smooth clearcoat CF finish

Thanks Duffy for doing that! You're going to LOVE this steering wheel when you get it installed.

It's not hard at all to install. Just have to pop the airbag out and then use a torx (don't remember what size) to remove the center bolt. I'd have a professional do it since you wouldn't want to accidentally pop the airbag after all.

Part numbers are:

Type 1 black 097.430.370.201
Type 1 color as desired 097.430.370.CCC
Type 1 color/carbon 097.430.370.CCC/CF
Type 2 black 097.430.371.201
Type 2 color as desired 097.430.371.CCC
Type 2 color/carbon 097.430.371.CCC/CF

I did order the "Techart" delete with carbon. Ask for Albert when you call. Both he and Mark were very knowledgeable, but Mark turned me over to Albert for the actual order even though Mark remained on the line. I didn't order by part number. Just went through every detail with Mark & Albert. They gave me the options on the wheel and we discussed them in detail even down to perforated or non-perforated leather on the sides. It's hard to believe there can be so many options on a steering wheel. I can't wait to get it - probably 4 to 6 weeks because mine is cocoa with silver stitching so has to be custom built. They said it may be in stock in basic colors. I will post pictures upon receipt.

It was cheaper for me when I got mine but costs more now because of the ever-rising Euros. I didn't want to post the information earlier because I knew it wasn't the correct pricing. Want to see the difference? Here's the pricing when I got mine:

Old pricing:
370mm ergonomically shaped, leather covered with perforated
section, handmade stiching, fits OE Original Airbags
Airbag
Type 1 black 097.430.370.201 $1,489
Type 1 color as desired 097.430.370.CCC $1,659
Type 1 color / carbon 097.430.370.CCC/CF $1,989
Type 2 black 097.430.371.201 $1,489
Type 2 color as desired 097.430.371.CCC $1,659
Type 2 color / carbon 097.430.371.CCC/CF $1,989
Installation 1.00

Refundable core charge $600

Current pricing:
370mm ergonomically shaped, leather covered with perforated
section, handmade stiching, fits OE Original Airbags
Airbag
Type 1 black 097.430.370.201 $2,150
Type 1 color as desired 097.430.370.CCC $2,389
Type 1 color / carbon 097.430.370.CCC/CF $2,850
Type 2 black 097.430.371.201 $2,150
Type 2 color as desired 097.430.371.CCC $2,389
Type 2 color / carbon 097.430.371.CCC/CF $2,850
Installation 1.00

Refundable core charge $600

It's still definitely WORTH it if you can spring for it.

Ahright boys it looks like I'm up and running!!!! Thanks everybody for your help and wisdom!!! Jason first off your car is absolutely sick!!! If my Atlas looks half as killer as yours I'll be psyched! In reference to some of the earlier questions yes you can install heated seats from the dealer. My guy in Chicago says it's about $700, not too bad and worth it in Chi weather!!! And yeah I'm def interested in group deals on HRE P40's but I would do brushed silver on mine. I wouldn't really think the color matters as long as we get a group of willing to go in....Lemme know and lookin' forward to many years of Pcar lovin!!!!!!

Are they switching out the whole seat for some with heaters for $700 bucks or are they adding in a heat module? Its my first time hearing of this also.

Adding in a heat module is what they told me. They insert some coils underneath the current seats attached to a switch that goes somewhere near the side panel, probably near the electric seat controls is what I'm assuming...I'll have more info for you when my car actually gets delivered sometime next week and I take it to the shop....
