Does anybody know Split Second tuner for Porsche?

Hi everybody i am a new member in this forum and i own 997tt for 9 months now. I've been reading the posts for a while, and i have been looking for affordable upgrade for the car. Today, i found a unique upgrade that i never knew about it. The company claims that it is embedded control solution that i is plugged into Map sensor. My questions are does anybody heard of this piece ever? If yes, is it any good? If no, can anybody have an educated guess about what it does to get the extra Hp?

the link is
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SPLIT...2em118Q2el1247

Thanks,
Bader

BTDT on the 996TTs. Save your pennies and just to do a proper program. These computers will fight these types of setups as the signals are not proper and trying to make the computer do something it does not want to.

I asked about this mod, but am not sure what i've heard is right. I have been told that this piece will give the ECU a higher air flow reading then the ecu will inject more gas to the engine and get more horses. I believe draw back of this is not a justing for engine timing and might harm the engine. Also, you have to reflash the ecu and get rid of the part for more power. The positive side it is easy to install and remove and it won't be detected by the ecu then won't void the warranty of the car and inexpensive
