From the articles in Excellence and Total 911 magazines, it looks like GMG has really created a nice exhaust. I am leaning towards going to Fabryce and getting it done.
My only question is, why did Excellence call GMG a "Los Angeles-based" tuner. Where's the love for the OC??? Do you guys also root for the Los Angeles Angels??

What can I tell you ... European Editors.. Everything in SoCal is considered to be "L.A. based" to those guys..

Hey guys lookin too get alittle less restrictive exhaust but at the same time i dont want a exhaust too loud and annoying cause the cops in my neighborhood luv too give tickets for them any suggestions. lookin for something with a nice sound too it . I was lookin at awe or caragraphic. Lookin too do the full intake and flash as well for the spring time got the itch for some mods so starting with this and the rest too follow.
Looks like AWE and Cargraphic have noise levels "in cabin" not far from stock? Correct? AWE in their video shows the "in cabin" sound for only a second or two...difficult to really capture the sound for such a brief exposure. The problem I understand with AWE is that their muffler hangs a bit too low below the bumper.
Now there is GMG. That is one sexy gal they have promoting the exhaust system on their video, but again with her talking, difficult to tell "in cabin" sound. But the Cargraphic and GMG both show about the same muffler space behind the bumper as does stock (maybe a bit less). So either one is OK there. I sure don't want to have to remove the exhaust system when trading the '07 turbo so I need a muffler that can pass for stock as far as looks with the stock exhaust cans showing. Does anyone know with AWE, Cargraphic or GMG... will the stock exhaust tips fit like they do on the stock muffler

Stock tips will fit the AWE system. The low hang below the bumper is overrated. It's how the photos are taken. You really can't tell. The in cabin sound level is a bit louder than stock. NO DRONE!

Difficult muffler choice. It is not so much the +$5K for the exhaust + cost/time for installation , it is the severe pain-in-the-butt issue reversing the process if the sound is too loud or there is drone at 50-55 miles/hr. And too, for me I like to be able to use the Porsche exhaust tips, I think they look best and too, you must have them when trading or you could lose even bigger bucks.

Don't let that deter you, it's a 3 hr job, leaving the bumper on...I've done it three times now on mine.
Also, they ALL hang down, even your stocker. Check out the fabspeed quiet system , just tested the latest version '3.5', it's nice!
Pretty soon and you'll be breaking the 2hr. install time
