Nope, probably due to lack of UV protection in the factory material, improper washing, etc. Mine are pretty bad on my white TT....I'm headed to the dealer to have replaced under warranty.
My understanding from reading many threads on this is that the clearcoat on the wheel wells which is installed by Porsche is perhaps 3M which yellows. I am hearing that perhaps Ventureshield is the brand to go with. I am still trying to find someone with a white Porsche that has had it on for a period of time to confirm.
Ventureshield or 3M, it makes no difference on the yellowing. I removed 2yr old ventureshield off of my silver 997S before I sold it and it was yellow too. I had to replace the side factory ones as well because they also yellowed. I have ventureshield on my turbo now and I do not like it. It has too much orange peel look on a dark grey car. I would just keep having porsche replace them for free as long as you can.

Gorgeous car! Enjoy...
Greetings…. I have same 997TT in white, also the Fabspeed Gen 3 Exhaust, headers, air intakes & tips. The car is great. I have 1,500 miles and I haven’t seen the inner fenders yellowing. Plz advs exactly what is the problem. - thx jte
Can you offer any advice or suggestions to those of us with white cars? do you leave the clearcoat off and just use touch up paint? I have heard it can yellow in 3-4000 miles. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
