Correct oil level for '07 turbo

Checked again with Hennessey in Atlanta and one other dealer and both
confirm that 9 +1/2 quarts is what '07 tt-system holds. Mentioned owner's manual says 8+1/2 which both say is wrong. Owner's manuals are written often in advance of manufacturing specs is their explanation for the discrepancy. Also both techs say that all bars are lit up with 9+1/2 qts and there should be no black space in the bar graph as shown in owner's manual. Both say that these turbos need the 9+1/2 qts because of tremendous amounts of heat generated. Anyone out there hear differently??

I change my own oil (twice so far) and the best thing is to measure the amount of oil that you drain out of the car and replace it. I do not do the Turbos but I replace the filter each time. I also use a torque wrench when replacing the bolts (do a search for the numbers). If I remember correctly I replaced 9 quarts last time. Do not overfill! I keep my car at the 3/4 mark and add at the 1/2 way mark ( which is about every 2000 miles). Remember its a dry sump system. Good luck!

If the bars show all the way to the top you won't know if it's overfilled. The manual says have the one black space showing - that's what I do. If it drops below I know to add.
