I corrected the V6 mistake - I meant flat 6.

The car is easy to drive inasmuch as your goal is to get from point A to point B. But it is not easy to drive it well. There is a reason the Porsche driving school is so popular.

Very Very well said, IMHO.

Everyone wants the supermodel girlfriend, until it finally happens and you're maintence costs just tripled, can't take her out anywhere, and worried about her previous history. Better off with the cute girl next door for everyday practically---> vote 997TT.

I won't decide for anyone but myself but ---

1) You drove both cars
2) You talked with sales of both dealerships
3) You asked here

I suggest two more things might help you decide-
1) Talk with the technicians who work on the cars
2) Talk with service advisors and discuss pricing/availability/ease/
convenience of parts at that dealership .

So often a new car search begins in sales but I have always felt that the very first place to check out cars is by talking with service.

Good luck and best wishes with whichever car you select.

Turbo Cab all the way...much better car and much more enjoyable to drive. You won't get the looks but you will have a much better car.
