I must say, I'm a huge fan of the interior options...The Cocoa works very well with the Carbon Fiber trim. Is that Carrara White Deviating stitching, or Silver?
Thanks for the kind words. The stitching is Silver. Thought about white, but thought the silver would be a little more subtle yet still have some pop to it.

Why do so many of you have your cars trucked home? Why not drive it? If it's super far away, I get it. Is that usually the case?

Honestly, just curious. I've never understood.
Only because of the huge pot holes and the crap they put on the roads during winter. Driving during winter here you can hear your car being pelted with anti-skid & salt. I passed a salt truck yesterday and it sounded like a machine gun hitting my car. Being from the Bay Area (I'm jealous), you may not have experienced this. There is a very bad 10 mile stretch that I have to drive over to get home. I have a set of Dymags ordered and they are offering me 2000.00 on trade for my wheels. I'm not sure if I am going to take it because eventually I will sell or trade and may want to keep the Dymags. In any case, I don't want to take a chance of bending a wheel. My last 997 Turbo I bought from Suncoast in Flordia. I flew down and drove back to Pennsylvania so for me it is only for damage control.

I agree with Jason about the brake. The main reason though, is with deviating stitching, you have to make a choice. There is NO way, Jason please confirm, to get deviated stitching on the shifter boot AND carbon shifter & brake. I wanted the carbon trim strip that is part of the package with the brake & shifter so I had to order it through parts and have it installed seperately. It cost almost as much as the whole package would have, but it was more important to me to have the deviated stitching on the shifter boot.

Duffy, you're right, if you had gotten the CF shift ****/e-brake handle then you wouldn't have gotten deviated stitching on the shift boot leather. This is because those CF pieces are not exclusive options so they are not covered by option 09991 which puts stitching on all exclusive items. The only way to get deviated stitching as you did would be to go with option DAX or DAW. In your case I believe you went with DAW.

I gotta tell you, I would never pick that out/inside scheme because it's just not my taste, BUT I will commend you because, to those with that preference, EVERYTHING in that car is tastefully arranged.

Good job and wonderful car.

Hi,

seems to be a potential minefield when it comes to getting the deviated stitching ordered correctly on all parts.

I really like the look of it, but as always its difficult to get a true representation for me unless i see it in the flesh. Wish i had an eye for these things !.

I am hoping that with a black leather interior, the normal stitching will show up at least a little.

That PCM you have looks fantastic too.
Rgds.

We've done that piece but its not in our regular catalog. I guess Its time we added it! Our version will match the rest of your OEM carbon - unlike the stuff in the photo above.

John, I would definitely be into that piece if you do it. The sills look great by the way.

We have one in process now. I'll get some photos taken as soon as it comes out. Looks like there is a lot of interest - we will need to add it to the regular list of parts.
