I'm on your boat as well. My dealer (Pepe in White Plains) estimates that I will be able to pick up the sled 3 days after the boat docks. Hopefully it won't be snowing...

Seems like the 997TT count in the NY Metro area is going to increase tremendously this spring!

? Confused? I thought that that's what 6spd was???

enjoy your turbo, and I will second andreas, with the GT2's just hitting late spring/early summer, I wouldn't expect a change for the Turbo.....doubters just look at what they did w/996..no changes until MY05 with the Turbo S.

I think its being held up by a ship in front of it that is getting repairs. They are currently having a problem with one ship! 2-3 days hopefully....

So far I can't complain. I was supposed to have my car in July but one guy got lost so I got bumped up to January which was great. My sales guy is Richard Prigge, very nice, a bit chatty (hehe), but treated me very well despite the fact that Im very young.

As far as price, I dont think I will be getting any discount, it will be pretty much at list. But considering the fact that its hard to get a young guy like myself approved for such a car (lease) as long as everything goes smoothly during pick up I wont be complaining. Plus I'd probably give up any discount that they offered me for a July car if I could get it 4-5 months earlier anyway.

Picked up the car today. All I can say is that it's stupid fast. I'll post proper pics when the weather clears up and we get some decent sun.

WTF!!

I was on the same boat and my dealer says my car is still in Baltimore awaiting transportation.

How many white Turbos were on that boat?

Congrats BTW, I'm just moody because you have yours already and I haven't gotten mine yet.

I believe my boat docked on the 19th if Im not mistaken and my dealer had the car on Saturday the 23nd. Because I only got my financing sorted yesterday, I picked it up on Tuesday, otherwise they would have had the car ready on Monday.

I ended up with Pzeros.

Looks like on tirerack they are rated lower than the Michelins but I'll see how they ride as they wear in.

Congratulations. Best of luck on this exciting day
I'll look for your car at Captree when the weather warms up a bit.
