that is awesome. how did you get the car and the background to be lit up at the same time? I guess Im trying to figure out how you left the shutter open long enough to get the city lights, but not over expose the car? I just got a new SB600 and would like to take similar pix with my D70s.

The 2 photos of your car and Seattle in the background are perfect examples of how background effects a subject. In one photo the car is the main focus and the other the car compliments the beautiful background yet the lighting still draws your eyes to it . It looks like you have 3 light sources hitting the car(with Seattle in the background)? A Nikon D800 speedlight with 2 remote flashes or maybe some spotters? It takes a lot of experience to shoot photos like this. Good job!

Nice photos man. I know exactly where that is.
On the terms of how to, if you have a cable release, you can just open the shutter and run to a few spots and hit it with your off camera flash. Just leave your aperture high enough to not blow it out.
