I don't own a 997 Turbo but comparing a couple of exhausts for a friends soon to arrive turbo, I found out that the AWE sounds much better. Check youtube for the sounds, I personally like the Cargraphic and FVD one's more as they sound a tad more aggressive.

There is a huge thread at rennteam.com comparing both these exhausts. I have an AWE and love it. It is definitely not loud, but has a deep grumble at idle that to me is perfect. Adding the IPD Plenum (and BMC filter) actually made the AWE even deeper, and better sounding to me.

Tried finding the comparison on rennteam.com, but no search engine that I could find. Can you forward anymore details about this comparison so I could find it and listen to the different exhausts....thanks

I have the same setup with the AWE, IPD Plenum, and BMC filter. I love the way it sounds!
