Launching a Triptronic Turbo

hey everyone im a new member and with my 997 turbo i put evoms stage 3 kit with the upgraded race fuel option butwhen i brake stand it i cant get a fast enough launch which is suppost to be 3.1sec 0-60 mph. Does anyone have any ideas on launching it quicker.

Its not easy to make massive improvements in 0-60, you have to take advertised performance gains with a grain of salt, they are always going to be under 'perfect conditions' and single driver etc. where you had a passenger.

Now if you ran a 80-120 run with those mods the difference might be a bit more measurable.

From my understanding its not easy getting the Tip into the right launch conditions, at least its not easy as mash the brake + gas then let go. Perhaps some other Tip owners can chime in here..

The passenger makes a huge difference. Even an average sized adult male - 170 lbs or so - will take significant time off of your 0-60 runs. If they anticipated getting 3.1 with a passenger then it would be sub 3.0 all by yourself. Can you say Bugatti Veyron . . . .

He's right. The weight of the passenger makes a huge diff. Also, try not to use Manual mode for launching. My C2s 0-60 runs is faster on Auto Mode by 0.2s.

ya ill try that how fast can you get on your porsche 997 turbo 0-60mph the race logic performacne box is highly recomended for testing any types of times for your car
