RE: Evolution Motorsports
Well guys I am not surprised they were baned.I had a lot of work done there and although the work was appeared fine the communication was terrible. That was a year ago and i have been trying since to get an actual invoice marked paid on what work they did and what i paid for. They delivered the car I paid them and they have been ignoring me ever since.I often wonder if i got what I paid for.
Well guys I have had my issues with EVO I dropped my car off for extensive work about a year ago. They completed the work of course it took about twice as long as they said I kind of expected that. However when they delivered the car and I paid them they could never produce an invoice stating the work performed.I have been trying to get one for about 9 months They always have an excuse.Never got my dyno eaither. So I guess it's buyer B WHERE. Would never go back to them.I really wonder if they did all the work they charged me for!!!!!!!!
I have called EVO couple of times regarding GT700 cars that I was thinking about buying and they have always been more than helpful, grant it I have never spent money with them but they have really gone out of there way to answer questions.
I called EVO a bunch of times to ask Mike some questions and they always put me on hold and the sec never delievered any of my messages they have the worst customer service ever! They were always "too busy" to answer any of my calls or questions. I bet you if I wanted to buy a GT700 for the ridiculous price they charge I would have got someone on the phone in a second!
FYI, I wouldn't be so quick to blame the new ownership. IB has been very good about not getting involved and continuing to let current management run sites.
I work with IB and the department that bought these forums on a daily basis in my "real" job. I also moderate one of the first forums they bought. They are very hands off, at least that is their approach for the time being.
I'd be looking at current management for what the problem was. I'd put $100 that IB doesn't even know anything has happened. (not that they don't care...just that they aren't hands on like this right now). I also know Evo is still up and running on other sites IB has purchased.
