Yet ANOTHER domination for GTR...

Driver of the TT sucked.
Should have had a Tip. 0-160 3.4 0-100 7.8 |
Like Khanh said, another senseless thread. This is a Porsche dominated board after all. hilarious

Are you fanaticts or car enthusiasts?

Good question....perhaps both.
A couple things to think about. Do folks post threads like this a means of information on other cars that "threaten" the Porsches or is it to get us Porschephiles "riled" up and therefore all defensive about our "sacred" P-cars? Personally, I like all cars with a few notable exceptions such as a Yugo or a few other "not so great" cars. I actually find myself admiring the GT-R almost to the point where I'd even think about getting one. The problem here is that I love my Turbo because it's everything I'd ever wanted in a car all rolled into one. The history, the heritage, the capabilities, the mystique, and everything else about it. A lifetime dream come true for this guy. The GT-R to me, is just another very capable Japanese car. |
Im more impressed by the R8. It's heavy and down on power, but still managed to get a really close time to the 997TT.

I don't feel the 997 Turbo section is where you have to post every single test where the 997 TT comes up short. We all know that the GTR is a great car. That has been proven in at least 5 different threads already. Itīs not necessary with 5 more. |

Looks like all 4 are great cars.....id love to have any of them in my garage.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply that the GT-R was without its own merits. The 911 has a longer heritage than even the Skyline. It all depends on who you ask. :D

has a longer heritage in terms of racing. yes you are right but thats pretty much the only different between the history they both possess. but you seem very level headed about the competition so thats cool. |
