Whats the lowest springs for 997TT
H&R's make noise when the wheel is turned back and forth. For some reason they do not always lock into the spring perch. I have them and love the ride height, ride quality and handling. However the clunking comes and goes but it bugs me. I keep saying I am going to take it back apart and come up with a solution but have not done it yet.
That is strange....Mine will do it with both me HRE's and the factory wheels. However is does come and go. Sometimes it will be fine for weeks then it starts up again. One day I will figure it out.
Jason,
Are Porsche OEM components not "true" coilovers? Or are you just kidding?

Techart: Lowers the car about 3/4"
H&R: Lowers the car about 1"
I hear the ride is better on the techarts.
I drove a 997TT with H&Rs and I recall the ride as being a bit rough for my taste. But then again I got out of an M6 where the suspension is much softer so anything would feel harsh to me at that given moment.
I now own a 997TT with techart springs on it and I believe the car feels as comfortable on the road as a stock spring. May feel a bit different but not enough to notice in my opinion.

I went with GT3 - alignment with a 0 toe. I think you can search the specs used by me, elcou and several others. I don't track this car so I wanted a streetable alignment that didn't eat through my tires on the inside.
