Need a good reference for a windshield replacement around the LA area.
Also if anyone know of someone who can clear bra the windshield.

I am looking into this film too and my understanding is the best is called Proline Windshield film. It has a two year warranty and will protect your windshield from rock pits, etc. Perhaps you can find a certified installer in your area - up here it is the guys who do the Ventureshield.

 

I just replaced the windshield on my 996 turbo this week. There is a company called Beehive (818) 371-7822. I got his number from BH Porsche a couple years ago but I don't know if they still use him. He originally quoted me something like $1080. I ended up having Beehive come to Lucent and do the work there.
