Kevin, Can't get it in the US right now. Yes this is a mod I'm looking at doing. That and the Ti exhaust looks like it could be a winner.

My dealer has no parts available for the GT2. They will not take delivery of one till July 2008. I've checked with my service tech and no parts yet. Maybe thats why you got such a high price.

why would Porsche ship parts if the dealer hasn't even sold one gt2 yet??Perhaps your dealer is bring them in from another Germany dealer and giving you the bend over, with no lube price.

The GT2s are being sold in Europe so they _are_ available. They're hardly making me "bend" over as you say. The prices are pretty much fixed dependent on the ever changing Euros. I kind of doubt that it'd change much from $12,000 even in July. Keep us posted if they do.

GT2 bootlid with carbon fiber wing is under 5k. I really don't think its going to be 12k. I'll keep you posted. I'm aware there released in Europe, that dosn't help us in the US.

Vorsteiner, I see that you guys offer a gt2 style rear deck lid with the air scoop. Just curious if the gt3rs style deck lid would work/ not recommended for a 997 turbo.

Thanks
