Finally...found my 997 TT !!!

Michael,
So you loaned your family some money huh? I am going to go ahead and call you out on this one...I am glad that you finally found the right car for you however it would be really nice if you did not find it necessary to LIE to people.
6speeders,
I learned that Michael was interested in purchasing a 997TT through this forum. I was not planning on selling my car but it fit the criteria that he was asking for so I threw it out there to see if he was interested. He was very interested and we agreed on a price. At his request, I agreed not to drive the car for a week or so and even rented a car for a while so that I would not put any more miles on the car (it only has 2500). I even had contacted 4 shipping companies to price out having the car shipped directly to Switzer for him from AZ. Then at the end of last week he started with the excuses so I had the feeling something was up. Then he told me that he had to lend 17K to his family and would not have it paid back for a week or two so if I could hold tight. So here we are a week later, no more email updates, no deposit, etc...
I find it funny that Michael appreciates someone else's honesty (like when Switzer was honest and told Michael that he could not have his car ready by his deadline), but does not have the common courtesy to give it in return to other people.
I am a big boy and understand how the world works. If he decided to purchase another car, great, then tell me that. But don't tell me you are going to buy mine, then don't.
How does that saying go...? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I am not really mad or anything because I am out the rental car fee, I just thought everyone should know the level of integrity that is represented here. It is the least I could do.

Oh my god...this is BS...I am bought diff car...
There is one side of the story...I am tired of all this crap and trying to explain something all the time or prove something...I am fed up...
Here is the details that are ussually kept private and now one should know and this business should be kept btw 2... but if one member decided to put this to public then I have to defend my self and explain situation...
CHRIS !!!
1st
I havent paid whole ammount yet !!! I told about that when I started the thread...Only paid deposit at that time + now + 85K... still awaiting for the rest of the money which...need to pay 31200 + missing 17k (which I had to borrow) + 1000 delivery to NY !!!
2nd
I am sorry about all this but didnt I said that I need time to make up my mind and didnt I said that I have other offers then are better ???
When you look for a best car you cant just get the 1st one you like...i learned that finding best deal and best car sometimes take long...I want may be throught 10-15 car before I found this one...and no one compains cause thats how it is...but I always kept you informed on whats was happening...
3rd
Did I offer you to pay a deposit and wait till I get the money the rest of them money sorted ???...and said that I've been promised to receive them back within 10 days or so...??? YES I did...
4th
Did I offer you to pay 100k with deposit and then 17k later...and again said that I've been told to receive the REST very soon ??? YES I did !!!
BUT you said you need all the money at once !!!...I said many times that I am looking for a best deal and that money is important for ME and I was looking and searching for a best deal and the best car !!!...
I liked you car the best before I've seen this on on e-bay and I was really thinking to BUY IT...BUT that car was just much much better then yours...and I coudnt pass this deal !!!...but whats really most important is that seller accepted my term of payments !!!!!
Thats is why...I went for it and I won an auction OK !!!...What can I do if this car is much better priced then yours 155k list price vs 133k ??? plus I have much better term of payment !!! Plus the owner has clear title in his desk already...and I dont have to wait for it...I've been advised to buy a car with claer title in hands, since my other friend who bought Prosche (also won an actions) for Brahman Porsche was waitng for his title from a dealer for almost 2 months...his car is still in port...he should of be driving it already if the title was not at the bank...So this also was very important in my decision making, since you said you title was at the bank and I was little uncomfortable about that but I didnt tell you anything about this cause I was willing to risk with your car...since I was going to to send for mods anyways...
Didnt I appoligise for all the probs and said why its happening and offered the WAY it would of worked for both of US ???...YES I did !!!
The... why you make this post here I dont really understand ???...I guess will all different and understand life diff ways ...You should of asked ME before and I would explain it to you..
It very said that you feel like this and I am sorry for waisting you time in this case or causeing some porblems but I was looking for the best car and it wasnt an easy decision for ME and I found what I wanted with term of payments that I need it !!!...
If you want I pay those $300 for the car you've rented cuase of ME ??? but I dint ask you to do this and didnt know that you where going to do that, if I would know I would tell you not to do it...nor I dodnt know before that you dont have other car to drive...
5th and last
Everything what I told you was 100% truth and nothing but the truth...I have always been honset and stright forward peoson with everytbody and that how I am...if you think otherwise...well I simply DONT CARE !!!....Its life...We dont have to like each other...but I wanted to be nice with everyone and tried to understand people...
AGAIN....Your car was one of the best ones that I liked and strongly considered buying it... It was 1st on my list but again you didnt accept my terms of payments and conditions and I was ready to do it and push my self just cause I was feeling a bit guilty that I didnt buy you car yet...but AGAIN your refused and I found better priced car that had many more options, wheels and exhausts, chip and suspension...BUT what was more important is that an OWNER was willing to deal and accept curcamstances I had...He accepted the offer I made and part time payments, we agreed to terms and conditions and made this DEAL...You wanted otherwise but I coundnt do it !!!...Cause like I said before and saying NOW I didnt have and still dont have whole sum of money...I am awaiting for return from my relatives !!!
This f%%k up suitution but it like this...Please accept my appoliogies once again..but I tried and explained my situation my times and jsut did it again...

Thanks man...I wanted to get full Switzer threatment but infortunately (he very straight forward person and that how all tuner should be) he cant do it that fast...I asked him if he can finish my car before end of July and he said he cant promise that...there its not an option for ME, cause it will take one months to arrive here...an i want to have some fun with it before winter times, other wise there is not point for ME to get his car and pay high custome duties for it...

Torment - open up a little. You are from the Midwest - we take you seriously for the twang
Just kidding. I was raised in Tulsa, OK for 15 years.
GT-RUS - I think you should take this thread to a private session. A clear title, no clear title, etc does not give you the right to make a guy rent a car to make sure he doesn't put mileage on it. He went out of his way for you and you asked for more time.
You bid on ebay yet you still didn't have the money. Why BID? A dealership is different than a private seller on Title. If he didn't have clear title he would have to give you one before it was transfered that day of the payment. Nobody will loan to you otherwise.
YOu handled it poorly and you know it. Just apologize and don't try to explain any more.
And don't put down his car as being worse than the car that you said you bought.

Actually, I don't have any midwest twang (thank god) and I'm from Tulsa as well. I've just read a lot of GT RUS's comments across the board and it is hard to take him serious sometimes.
Then...go away?
There are always two sides to a story. GT_RUS is a good guy that I have known for a while from other forums. I think we should just let these guys sort this thing out and close this thread that is not doing anyone any good at this point.
I tried to explain my situation.... apoliszed many times already...
I dont know why post this thing here...its private staff...I didnt want to cause him any probs...and really wanted to buy his car till some porbs arrived and then I found better deal...
The rest of the staff is my business..
