The Viper probably was pushing too much torque and decided to go sideways going 100+. That thing was sliding forever

 

Nice story here...1000 hp are a bit too much...in this case... but not for a Porsche

 

The Techart certainly held its own. Maybe in a straight line after a certain speed the Viper would kick its ***, but the street ain't no dragstrip. Power to the ground and good handling win every time.

Yeah if it were a standing mile, the viper would have walked it, but you can tell the viper had tons of lag, but when it hit boost it would gooble up distane real fast.

Looks like he was getting frusrated with the lag and started trying to power shift to reduce the lag periods and that's when he spun.

What video were you watching? Lag on a tt srt10? Please tell me exactly where in the video he stops lifting to shift and starts powershifting?

 

That's what you get for strapping all that power to the rear tires.

 

I am sure on the long stretch the Hennesy would take the Porsche. I am a Porsche lover and it is hard for me to agree with this statement. But the fact is the fact. nice video though.

 

Can't wait to see the entire episode and I agree that Viper looked like it was ***** fast but that Porsche was just so smooth with it's power that it made it look like it wasn't working hard. That spin, thank god it didn't result in any injuries, it could have been REALLY bad. But it sure was fun to watch!
