My understanding is in dash yes, CDC no.
How do you convert your itunes playlist to a mp3 file prior to burning the cd?

TT Surgeon - sorry I am not an Itunes specialist but is there a built in "burn" function within the Itunes software? If I recall it has some protection so you can't just copy and paste songs. This is why I just keep all my songs outside of Itunes as MP3.

So, there is a dash CD player in the 997tts even if you opt for the CD changer option? And yes, if it plays mp3s there is really no need for a changer... more space for luggage or your wig . Just keep 10 CDs with mp3s and you have a total of 1500 songs in the car.

I have burnt multiple CD with multiple folders that contain .MP3 files and the head unit plays them all. Pressing the audio button on PCM shows folders list and if you step into the folder, playlist in the folder.

I don't have a CD changer did not see the reason to get one as the head unit was advertised to play MP3 files.

I burn data CDs with mp3 using Windows 7 burner that comes with the operating software. Works like charm in my PCM dash player.

May try a different CD. No need to format, just burn the MP3s. I have used a variety of software with no issues. Maybe try Shampoo (software) ...it is free.

Good luck,
DC
