don't rely on pics - go see them in person. I'm very happy w/ my slate.

I've got meteor and love it....other people too based on comments I've gotten. Can't go wrong with any of the colors frankly.

my thoughts on color

Just about any color in a 911 looks great. It's a 911!!!
However, I do think that there are a few colors that just are not appealing.
ie.. pink, oslo blue?, and maybe some other wacky colors.
but all the standard and specialty colors look great.

Personality and appeal. Like one of the other commentors mentioned:
Who are you and what croud do you hang out with and what croud do you like to consider yourself a member of?

Younger 20's; Black with all blacked out features with black rims, black interior; RED with black interior and red striped rims etc..; Yellow with yellow rims! and yellow seat belts;

30's and maybe forties: Midnight blue (awesome color!); Almond (brown?); white?

40-50: conservative silvers (Arctic, Seal Gray, GT silver)

This is just my viewpoint obviously.

Now, one the other things I considered a little while ago is to look at all the 911's that you see driving around that are 10-15 years old. Which ones aged better and which ones look like you wouldn't mind paying good money for? Which ones still really catch your eye. Which ones still look pretty "new".

I must say, the RED 911's across the board age the best. I would like to hear from other readers about their thoughts on this....

I just took ownership of a 08 997 TT Cab; Arctic Silver/Terracotta 5-5-08 (already posted pics).

Enjoy whatever 911 you drive.... life is all tooooo short....

Very true -- the best way is to go see 'em in person.

I went into the dealer thinking I was going to order GT Silver. But I saw a Slate Grey and thought it looked fantastic, so that's what I ordered. I looked at GT Silver, Arctic Silver, Meteor Grey, and Slate Grey all side by side. The differences in the silvers and greys are subtle but stand out when next to each other.

Red with painted rockers all the way around just looks stunning. However, Atlas in the sun is absolutely gorgeous. I haven't seen a meteor in person. If you're a "look at me" type of person, I'd go Guards, otherwise Atlas. Of course, there is always Cobalt
