That was one of the best races I have ever watched. It had a bit of everything. I am literally out of breath after having just finished watching it. From Kovalainen stalling on the grid but still finishing in the points, to Ferrari blowing the tire strategy again, it was simply amazing. Lewis was both saved and hindered by the safety car. It saved him from falling too far behind after the tire puncture early but made it a race with 13 laps left after the Rosberg accident. What about Alonso taking the risk with dry tires before the sun came out. It's the first time I gained some respect for him in a while but that was really brave. WHAT A RACE!!!

Now Lewis leads the points race. Just crazy.

All kidding aside, Hamilton was the fastest out there today - plain and simple. He was able to create a gap of over 30 seconds between he and Massa at one point and over 40 seconds over Kubica before Rosberg's crash and the safety car. Great win for him and McLaren.

Massa is amazing. He is so quick and so poised. I am amazed by him. But BMW suprises again. Look for them to win a GP soon. Just a tragedy about what happened with Sutil . . . But I don't think Kimi did anything wrong. It looked pretty unavoidable. Just a bad stroke of luck. That's racing.

That race is why Formula 1 is the pinnacle of racing. There is just nothing like it.

Now on to Canada! The race is on big Fox in the U.S. so we get it at a decent hour and in HD. Sweet.

Go Lewis for a repeat North of the border!

That was arguably the best race I've seen in F1 yet! Major props to McLaren and Hamilton, but what the heck was up with Heikki stalling his car right off the start?! I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be cheering for Force India, but Sutil gave it his heart and soul and came away empty handed. I just couldn't believe that Kimi made such a huge mistake at the end that cost them both the race. In any case, Hamilton definitely deserved the win because he clearly out-drove everyone, but he sounds very arrogant and almost a bit cocky in the post race interviews when he said he really wasn't pushing too hard and had room to step up his game if needed.
