Im not a fan of black wheels so definitely not going that route.

I agonized back and forth on whether to get black P40s and ended up purchasing brushed aluminum. I knew for sure that I liked the look of a brushed P40, but wasn't sure whether I'd like black on a day in and day out basis. I found the P40 mesh in brushed to be a classic look similar to BBS that I was sure I wouldn't get tired of.

By going to black wheels become less visibly prominent and have a more overall aggressive "track" look. Since the P40 has essentially no lip, in black it fades into the background and blends into the tire actually making the brake caliper most prominent. I opted for a more 'visible wheel look, and why not for the kind of money that these wheels go for.

 

Just noticed that my signature still reflected my decision dilemma. It has since been corrected to read brushed p40s

 

The white centers would be a nightmare to keep clean if you do not have the PCCB's!!! I like the look though.

This is making me rethink the black with red pinstripe, damn you 360 forged!

As for the HRE maybe Im mistaken but Im just under the impression that they weigh more than the Champions, does anyone know the wheel weights of the HREs?

 

Red pin is a very bad a$$ look on the 997's

 

"Subbie" has a white turbo and has white wheels on hers. She offered them to me recently. Find her posts and contact her if you are interested. You can at least take a look at how it looks. I personally like the black.

That would look good. We talked and you said silver with a red stripe. But white with red stripe would look hot!
