Anyone know the weight's of the stock reds, brembo big brake kit, and the PCCB's? Currious to see which is lighter.

PCCB's

I ordered mine with my car, wanted to have them factory installed. Funny, stopped into the local Porsche distributor and he thought I was trying to trade in my car (I actually was shopping for a GTS Cheyenne) he stated that the PCCB's on my 911TT are a worthless option.
Probably the best option if you plan on Tuning IMHO

In the latest Car&Driver, they take a number of cars/SUV's and do repeated full on panic stops. Two of the cars are 997's, one with PCCB and one without. They quit after about 35 stops from 100 mph because they couldn't get the brakes to fade. There was no difference in stopping distance between PCCB/non PCCB.

So while we're on the topic, what is the best pad/fluid upgrade possible for the stock factory kit?

Just go with the Brembo Gt system. I am happy with it.

The front and back come with 15 inch rotors and the calipers are larger. Not a lot of room to spare under the 19 inch wheels so I doubt you could go much larger than 15 inch rotors unless you have 20inch wheels. The price was somewhere near $8,000 for the whole set.

I've spoken with a few team drivers, they all giggle a little when they see my ceramics,
Why? you may ask, they destroy them. Most recommend good steel brakes period.

The new price represents the cost of the new "model" pccb which are a bit different, but agree that the costs are extreme.

Ceramic brakes are the best I have felt in any porsche to date. The real deal.
