Everything looks good but I would recommend NOT getting red seatbelts. I saw a well worn car with them recently and there were obvious black marks all over the red seatbelts. So, unless you're going to keep them clean all the time then I wouldn't get them. Black always looks good and is easy to keep clean.

Like Chris said, definitely get the ***, leather sunvisors and yes, I'd recommend the rear center console in leather. I personally think it's a much more elegant look. With the red stitching, it'll look KILLER much more so than an all red painted piece.

I don't have a picture of the regular door finishers but just imagine what this would look like without the stitching just beyond the window switches.

Another close-up of stitchings

Do you think this will be an eye-soar in a car with all deviating stiching and no door finisher in leather?

You might be correct but you can't order door finishers in leather on the 2009's. Hopefully leather has just become standard.

I was originally going to get the rear center console in leather but I was concerned it would be too monotonous with the black leather and red stitching. I wanted to do something different for the center console to break things up a bit.

I'm still not convinced on the adaptive seats. What's the real benefit? I think I'd take sport buckets over adaptive sport seats.

Regular ones are plain black plastic. If the leather door finishers arent available I'll have to get something else, which will mean rethinking some other options to make sure it ties in well. I don't like the carbon or alum for the door finishers and the stock ones are somewhat plain to me, so that leaves the ones painted in black which would look pretty good. Then I'd probably get the center console painted black, too.

I must have missed that red stitching was being considered. If that's the case then I agree with Jason - go leather center console without question. Will look unfinished to just have the stitching end.

also, if you haven't listed it make sure you get the gear trim lever in leather.

The adaptive seats are exactly as the name implies, adaptive to your needs. You're able to adjust the bolsters to hold you in place during cornering exercises. IMHO, it's a must get. The standard seats don't give anywhere near the support of these adaptives. You really should go find a car that has those seats and try them out. I was convinced the second I sat in them.

Your deviated stitching is really going to make the entire interior stand out and having the painted center console might make it stand out too much. It's all about balance and creating the right look.

Check out the pic I posted on the previous page for an example with the alum console. I think it looks good!

These pictures below were my model for the interior, but I was concerned that the rear center console in leather would make it look too monotonous so I decided to break it up with a different look.

Well I have the sport seats on my 987S and they are great...same as *** minus the power adjustments. I would never get the standard seats, but I don't really know if I need the power adjustment and adjustable bolsters.

Do the adaptive seats and Do the defroster vent in leather, I love my console in leather, I have all dev stitch also

I missed the defroster and the dome cover , I have the dome cover on order

I did the shift trim in white....

Seat backs painted or leather would worry me when I put a bag in..

All I'm saying is, go find a car with adaptives and try them out.

You keep mentioning the defroster vent...you mean the top of the dashboard against the windshield?? Do you have a pic of this? Seems like it would be hard to see.

Not getting specially painted or leather seat backs...just how they are done on the sport seats.

Ok fair enough...I'll check them out before finalizing my order. Tough to do at the dealership, though, because it seems like they aren't ordered very often...kind of annoying that so many cars are ordered with standard seats. Seems like at least sport seats would be a no-brainer. If after checking them out I feel it's worth the extra 50-100 lbs to have them, then I'll definitely go for it.
