RE: 996 Carrera
I know this is the wrong forum but would appreciate any insight.....

Id like to drive my Carrera over the weekend w a passenger, but unfortunately the front passenger seat is stuck all the way forward and every direction works/moves BUT backward......
I fiddled w it for an hour today- w pressure on it, wiggling it, took switch cover off to see underneath, did a visual on tracks, had Porsche service manager mess w it (thinks the switch is bad).....
Any way for a manual override, etc?
Just need it back for the weekend...... Also won't be online here after 6am CST tomm. as will be busy so need a few suggestions before then!

You are out of luck . I had a 996 seat issue similar and had to replace the parts .
