Guys, if you want a jammer that works... Laser Interceptor smokes them all.

Here's the test that counts. Completely impartial. Supposedly there is another test by them that should be taking place soon. They don't announce them anymore due to someone previously trying to rig one.

Becareful with the laser interceptor---there was a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on with their tests. As far as the world ending if you get caught with a laser jammer/defusor -- it AIN'T gonna happen. BUT The first thing to do is really read the law in your state and go from there. In CA, for example, you get a ticket if you have 4 or more units (like one might put on a RV). The 9500ci has only 3 units. LOOK at the 9500ci and all it does. The M 20 40 45 are either older tech or do not offer the features of the ci. I have researched the hell out of this. In other words this is not IMHO

And what are the features of the ci, that are not present with the M25 or M45?? If the 9500ci in laser is anything like 9500i in radar detecting, that the 9500ci is junk too. I have a 9500i and next to my V1, the 9500i is a dog plain and simple except for the lady letting you know what band it is so you can let the copper know if he asks.

John,

It's painfully obvious that you haven't done your research. I would suggest that you do a little more research before saying anything else here. As I said once before, the 9500Ci is a radar/laser detector PLUS a laser jammer. I currently have the older version which is the SRX which is also a laser/radar detector PLUS a laser jammer too. I use this in conjunction with the V1. The V1 takes care of the detection while the SRX takes care of the laser jamming. I do this because the V1 is superior in detection but my guess is that's because the V1 for me is mounted up high in the windshield whereas the sensor for the SRX is mounted in the front bumper. I would guess that if you were to move the sensor up high then the detection capabilities would improve immeasurably. Why the installer didn't do that, I'll never know but I'm happy with the setup I currently have.

Your 9500i (notice the lack of C) is just a radar/laser detector.

I've personally tested the LI. It is freaking amazing. Two heads up front, two in the rear. I used two different laser guns and couldn't get a reading anywhere I aimed on the car. It just plain works....

I know this is wasted motion, but Mr Atomic, you stick to your painfully obvious boring picture taking. The 9500i is a dog, that is all I was referring to. Just the 9500i. Read my passage again. I simply said in radar detection, the V1 surpassed it. If you don't agree with that, remove your V1 from the vehicle and use the 9500i. I only said if the quality of the 9500ci is anything like the uality of the 9500i then that is a dog too. Nothing more. There has been many times, you have come up with these misinterpreted statements on comments from others, then you hammer back at them. Interpretating sentences/phrases can be a bit more difficult than picture taking, just takes more patience..

John, I apologize for misunderstanding your intentions but there really was no basis for you to insult my photography. You can continue to ignore mine as you please, but please, don't resort to insulting others over a simple misunderstanding.

For the record, I think the SRX/9500Ci is an excellent jammer however I do agree with you that their detection capabilities are subpar at best compared to the V1.

No insult intented. I guess we're even. You just didn't realize, that I do research for a living (exceptional research), that's how I make my coins, and you do photography for living (exceptional photography, I'm sure). We are just both proud, maybe too proud of our professions. Sorry about any misunderstanding.

I love a man who shoots off his mouth without doing any research. I could tell you about the ci--but with a response like yours, I don't think so
