My Husband' TT is Great

This is marysc6, vincy's wife. I'm on his login. I used to make fun of his TT. I have a Vet and it has instant power and torque at any speed. When I drove his TT before I didn't like it, had turbo lag and only felt good at full throttle. Yes, we are both spoiled and need lots of HP.

Well, I drove his TT yesterday with the new intake and PES tune. Holy s*^#, the car is awsome. It downshifts at part throttle and feel good at all engine speeds. We also have a Viper and the TT feels faster, which means we have to mod the Viper. Before yesterday I didn't understand the reason you all liked Porsches. Now I understand, a blast to drive and glued to the road.

Hi Mary,
I am so glad that you are happy with the new PES ecu flash in the car Joseph was telling me how you didn't like driving the car before, and preferred driving the Corvette! The new flash is much smoother and makes more power than the old flash, and the best part is you guys don't have a CEL from the old flash anymore!
I guess you will be driving the TT more often now It was great to hear from you! Tell Joseph I said hi, and if he needs anything else to give me a buzz.

Joseph,
Your a lucky guy. If only we all had this kind of approval for mods to our cars from our wives

We do map our software so that the wastegates allow more boost at part load. This is why you feel the responsiveness as you feed into the throttle.

Thanks again for choosing PES and FS.

I havent tracked the car yet, but i can tell you the net HP gain due to the cold weather is very apparent. Car breaking loose soooo much in 1st and 2nd gear I am going to be in the market for some winter tires!

I have, I talked to Tony about a couple of little adjustments that need to be made. The power is overall very steady. Satisfied with PES at the track. Ask Tony to give me a call.

Hi Folks,

FYI for Tri-State NY/CT/NJ people, Performance Outfitters are full line dealers for both PES and Fabspeed and are running a holiday package sale across the board on all Porsche setups... Feel free to PM for more details.

HI

It is Joe@ Fabspeed Motorsports. Go see these Fabspeed dealers/ installers as they typically have Fabspeed MAXFLO exhaust systems in stock and even our Maxflo 997 Twin Turbo CUP intake system as well. The fabspeed Maxflo 997 Twin Turbo intake ONLY takes in COLD AIR just like the factory system. We fully tested both the factory system and our system thoroughly with back to back thermocouples to make sure no hot or hotter air was taken in by the 997 Twin Turbo engine.

The air is all COLD and just alot more goes into the engine and typically you will see +10 to +12HP at all 4 tires on a stock 997TT. If you have a heavily modified car the power increase goes up as the hungry beast wants more air.

See the Fabspeed Motorsports VIDEO explaining how our Maxflo airintake only takes in COLD air and when even if you are STUCK in traffic the engine fan force feeds cold air into the engine bay......... essentially the 997TT gets cold air 100% of the time.

All systems comes with carbon fiber heat shields that block radiant heat and hold the cold air from the engine fan and dual air ducts in place so the twin conical airfilters with integral velocity stacks can quickly suck in the air.

If anyone doesnt belive it call one of our dealers or try the system and you will believe or your money back. Furthermore-- the mild blow off "whoosh" sounds from the Maxflo CUP intake and just incredaible and these sounds alone will make any Porsche 997 Twin Turbo enthusiast GRIN bigtime.

Try it you have only some power and exotic sports car turbo sound to enjoy.

Joe Fabiani

The PES flash comes on strong and stays there on the track, very nice. Very streetable in std mode, in sport it's a nasty *****. My brother recently drove mine and said the pwr/tq curve was better than his giac fwiw.
