I am not going to get into a long reply or start a warranty thread war. If you want to know, pm me with your number and I will call and explain it to you.

If sound is what you are looking for, both AWE and Cargraphic exhausts sound better to my ears. Just my 2 cents, this is a matter of personal preference so YMMV.

As far as reducing back pressure, I don't know what the GT2 stock exhaust uses, but perhaps something like 400 or 600 cell cat or whatever it is that the stock Turbo uses? If true then both AWE and Cargraphic, using 200 cell cat, are "better."

The main advantage would be weight saving, but AWE and Tubi are also a bit lighter than stock.
The sound info is especially appreciated, perhaps in time, they'll have GT-2 exhaust sound track on Utube.

4k is a little steep for a stock exhaust. Sooner or later somebody will take one off their gt2, then buy it used.

You are welcome, John. In case you don't already know, I am an over-the-top nutty audiophile who uses tube equipments a for my stereo (LOL, as if that would make my opinion more trustworthy) so sound is important. Perhaps more relevant, I have listened to multiple after market exhausts to know a good one when I hear one (AWE, Tubi, GMG, & Cargraphic).

Peace - no war needed. If a repair is done someone pays - owner, dealer, PCNA, 3rd party insurer or a combination of all 4. Some dealers are more "generous" and understanding than others so they find a way to get paid by PCNA, others don't want the hassle and deny claims pretty quickly and regularly. The key is to find that right dealer - they know how to process warranty claims so they get paid.

not sure how many of you have heard the exhaust itself but it's pretty close to that of a stock 997tt. It's not exactly a "thrilling" sound;(

I did spent the day with one...

I can live with the above. But I will say the understanding dealer DOES know how to do it and believe me they do not lose any money. All I ever wanted to point out is if you get a ****ty dealer they will void you quicker than it takes the time to type this---even if it is a true porsche part put on a different model. SO ask first with any mods (If you care about your warranty because there are a lot of people who don't care)

If you look at the initial post of this topic the person postulated that since it was a porsche exhaust there would be not warranty issues. etc.

I heard that Akrapović produces exhaust systems for GT2. Is that true?

I like the speedArt sound. Have you compared that with AWE? It even has a cut-off switch where the diriver can go back and forth from cats only to muffler and cats for $7K. I think the Tubi sounds too raspy, not even close to the AWE or speedArt. But the sound hard to capture is the in-cabin rumple. Would be a shame to put out the $5-6K and then the in-cabin sound drives you up the walls of the car's inside. Had that problem with an aftermarket exhaust for my M3, couldn't wait to get the damn thing off and get it back to the supplier.
