OT997 is infamous around these parts
over priced by $75K

I really prefer the Techart 1 package as it's more reserved and less "boy racer". That said here's how what an equivalent 600 hp techart 1 car would cost you to put together:

* used TT with less than 5k miles = $118,000 (sticker $135k)
* HRE 20 in wheels and tires = $7,000 (nicer wheels)
* Bilstein Damptronics + GT3 sways & drop links = $3,500 (better suspension)
* 600 HP tuning (headers + exhaust + ECU flash) = $8 to 10K depending on your tuner of choice
* Techart 1 complete parts kit = $8,000
* Installation (headers, suspension) = $2000 (est no hard numbers yet)
* Painting and install of techart kit $2000 (est no hard numbers yet)
* Techart steering wheel = $2500

Total techart 1 = $153,000 (using $10K as tuning price)

Now if you assume that the GT street kit is twice the price of Techart 1 then add another $10K to the kit and you end up around $163K. Granted you have the hassle of having to put it all together yourself. So to me this car would only be worth about $175K at most.

I'm probably leaving out a few other interior mods but this car is over priced by $75K.

I'm slowly putting together a techart 1 over the next few months. I have the wheels (waiting on tires), the 600hp upgrade goes in this week then it will be suspension followed by the techart 1 kit last. Probably have it all done by November.

Forgot: If you add the brembo big brake kit it's another $8 or 9K (installed). That still puts it below $175K. Upgraded turbos aren't needed to make 600HP.
