Congrats! Love that color also. As far as the ceramics go, I use to think they were too pricey of an option until I took a 2 day porsche driving school last month and drove a 997S with ceramics on day 2. Well, I had a 997S without them and can tell you I noticed a difference not only in initial "grabbing" power but the car felt more nimble with the lighter brakes. Gives you more confidence before entering a turn. The reds are fine but next time around I will be going for the Ceramics too (although I plan to keep my 2007 TT for quite awhile). Chris (E55AMG), you will love it in Alabama come December. TurboJohn54 drive her in good health!

Thanks a lot. Here are a couple of photos. Light was low so you can see the effect somewhat. I'll take some photos after dark later and post them too.

Thanks for the feedback and the sentiments. I plan to go for the driving school in Alabama sometime soon after getting the car broken in. My home is about 4 hours from there so not too far to go. I debated quite a bit about getting the PCCBs, but after trying them and also comparing the feel to a friend's 997 without them, I definitely agree with your assessment. And so far totally silent.

Maybe our cars were on the same boat? The Sirius Highway. Car came in at Port of Houston. I agree with you on the color. No photo I've taken so far captures the subtleties of the color. Looks different depending on the type of light it is sitting in.

Thanks. Will do. But it's tempting to cheat! I saw your video on You Tube when you took delivery of your beauty. Love that white also. You looked very happy. I know the feeling. Nothing like that first day.

Hey TurboJohn, just an idea for you. I put Ventureshield over my illuminated stainless sills and it has saved them from any scratches. If you look, there are threads about guys who can't get all the shoe scratches off these once it happens. Just an idea!
