Dave (MA 02 C4S) congrats. Great car you picked. I have the GT3 and the E60 M5 as the daily combo.
If you are interested in modding you need to contact ASR Engineering. They have the good for BMW performance. Also Active Autowerke is working on goodies for the M3.
The ASR exhaust is outrageous. This is my M5 which dyno'ed 581 rwhp.

Ranger - I've already ordered a Eisenmann exhaust, just waiting for it to show up. So far the M3 has been a blast to drive, just needs to be a litlle louder
